Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.

Cook egg noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion over medium-high heat, breaking up meat as it cooks, about 8 minutes.

Season beef with salt and pepper, then stir in cream of mushroom soup and frozen vegetables.

Add cooked noodles to the beef mixture and stir to combine.

Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
