Terms of Service

In short: Juno Family is a free household management app. You must be 18+ to create an account. Children join only through a parent's invitation. AI features are helpful suggestions, not guarantees. Texas law governs these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Juno Family, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Juno Family is a household management platform that helps families coordinate tasks, plan meals, manage shopping lists, extract actionable items from emails using AI, and visualize household equity. The service is currently offered free of charge.

3. Account Terms

You must be 18 or older to create a household. You are responsible for everyone you invite.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Juno Family account
One household is created per primary account
The primary adult (account creator) is responsible for all members they invite, including children
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must provide accurate information when creating your account

4. Acceptable Use

Juno Family is for personal household use only. You agree not to:

Use the service for commercial purposes
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service
Upload abusive, harmful, or illegal content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service

5. Children & Parental Responsibility

Children join only when a parent sends them an invite code. Parents are responsible for their children's participation.

Children (minimum age 4) may participate as household members when invited by a parent or guardian. By inviting a child, the parent or guardian:

Consents to the collection of the child's data as described in our Privacy Policy
Assumes responsibility for the child's use of the service
Retains the ability to remove the child and delete their data at any time

6. AI Features Disclaimer

AI-extracted items are suggestions. Always verify important deadlines and information yourself.

Juno Family uses artificial intelligence to extract actionable items from emails, generate meal suggestions, and provide recommendations. These AI-generated outputs are suggestions and are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content before acting on it. Juno Family is not liable for missed deadlines, incorrect extractions, or any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

Juno Family and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bryan Wasicek. You retain ownership of all content you create or upload. By using the service, you grant Juno Family a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service.

8. Service Availability

Juno Family is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Access Window

Accounts are granted a time-limited access window upon creation. The duration of the access window and any renewal terms will be communicated within the app. The service is currently free during the initial access window.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion includes a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion. After 7 days, all your data is permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms of Service, with or without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bryan Wasicek (operating as Juno Family) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Since the service is currently provided free of charge, total liability is limited to $0.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
